🪷 The original kanji for Reiki
The word Reiki is made up of the Japanese characters REI (霊 – the universal, the spiritual) and KI (気 – life force). Together they describe an inexhaustible current that flows through every living being.
🔑 The four traditional symbols – gateways of power
- Cho Ku Rei – the power symbol: Activates and amplifies energy. Often used at the start of a session to invite protection and clarity.
- Sei He Ki – the harmony symbol: Works on the emotional level. Supports balance, heart healing, and the integration of feelings.
